Jacqueline Ann Frierman

Jacqueline’s artwork is in memory of her mother and her amazing strength while battling cancer. In her earlier paintings she chose one of the strongest and most family-oriented animals, the elephant, to symbolize her strength and the impact that her mother’s presence left on so many people. Branches are used in various pieces to show that no matter how small something is or the struggles it endures it never loses its strength. Recently, her paintings “crossed over” to images of dancers that narrate various emotions that have arisen from the whole experience.
